Project services create functional entities
Biower’s project services extend from feasibility studies to the handover of fully operational plants. Each project begins with a feasibility study
of the client’s needs, the quality of processable wastewaters, the process flow volumes, and the volumes and energy potential of waste to be received
by the biogas plant. The plant’s cost and profitability are also calculated during the survey. In addition, Biower can arrange the project funding and
acquire the necessary environmental permits if required.
Biower has a mobile, small-sized wastewater treatment plant, which may be used during the survey. This unit contains the necessary equipment to remove
dissolved impurities and solid matter from the water being treated. The miniplant is used to test and determine, in advance, the actual plant’s treatment
capacity for the wastewater in question. This means that new plants can be dimensioned correctly in their planning phase, both in terms of their functions
and their treatment capacity.
The mobile plant also serves as a reserve capacity unit that can be quickly delivered where required, and the number of units can be increased as necessary.
The results of the feasibility study are used to define the plant’s requirements for subsequent planning and design. The plant design phase includes defining
the required technologies and equipment, plus dimensioning the processes and process components.
The project management ensures that all phases of the project will function seamlessly together, and that the plant can be started up without problems within
the agreed schedule. Project management is also responsible that the plant fulfils customer expectations and performance guarantees.
