Biogas production
Biower energy production systems are based on the non-polluting use of biological waste and other biomass types. The end-result consists of bioenergy and fertilisers.

Biogas is produced through fermentation and reclaiming the gases generated by the biomass being treated. This means that biogas plants are net producers of energy whereas composting on an industrial scale only consumes electric energy.

Biower uses the Kompogas dry fermentation process with uniform biomass decomposition and stable gas production. The method efficiently converts biowaste into gas for the subsequent production of electricity, heat or vehicle fuels. The process results in a nutritious digestate that is an excellent fertiliser, on the one hand, with the bio raw material’s and the nutrient’s high dry matter reducing the transportation costs and emissions, on the other.

The biogas reactor is applicable for processing biowaste obtained from communities, agriculture and the food industry, for example. In addition, the reactor can be easily installed to boost the operating efficiency of existing compost plants.
